This fairy tale necklace started with the brick road, stitched in a combination of flat and tubular right angle weave. To be honest that was the simple part, the shoes gave me quite the challenge. After months of brooding I decided to investigate and found on Google the original blue print for the ruby slippers. That same day while walking down the hill for groceries I found a little red Barbie shoe waiting for me in the middle of the road. Together with the blue print and some inventive beading the shoes where created.
