Happy Sprummer!
The Sprummer 2010 newsletter is available for printing from our website.
(Please see the link at the bottom of this page.) There will
be some b/w copies available for pick up in the store. It is important that not
only we have your correct e-mail but also that our e-mail
address be put on your allowed list. I don’t want you to miss
out on monthly updates and specials that will be communicated to
you via e-mail. |

During the
Sprummer months we will be collecting for Manna, our local food
bank. I read in the paper that when children are out of school
there is actually an increased demand placed on this non profit
organization as children no longer receive subsidized lunches
and sometimes breakfasts in schools. To help out with this
situation we will again be giving you discounts for your
donations. We will be collecting non expired canned goods and
non perishable items during the first 7 days of each month. If
you bring in one item you will receive 10% off your purchase, 2
items 20% off, 3 items 30% and 4 items will bring a 40% off
savings. We hope you will consider supporting this organization
and in so doing accept our “Thank you” discount.
Check the
events section and the website for special happenings at the
store. We had several wonderful trunk shows last season. Many of our events this season are trunk shows.
It has come to my attention that we have not done a very good
job conveying to you just what a trunk show is. During a trunk
show, a vendor or bead artist sends or brings a wide assortment
of their products or work, much more than we can stock in the
store. This allows you to have a much broader and larger
assortment of merchandise from which to choose and perhaps the
opportunity to meet the artist who created the bead you just
love! Trunk shows are held for 1-2 days, usually over a weekend.
At the conclusion, the remaining merchandise is returned to the
vendor or the artist packs up and goes home. The
events for
Sprummer are on the front page of the newsletter.

Sprummer welcomes
many returning guest teachers as well as some new faces. Please make sure you check your
schedule so you will get the classes you want. The teachers come
infrequently, and the class offerings are not usually repeated
so if you have an interest in a class make sure you schedule to
take it. If there is a prerequisite, take it and if you need
help in that department, remember we offer private classes.
Anything is possible! |
