Artist, teacher, and
author; left a successful career as a graphic artist to become a major
presence in the field of beading. Her work has been collected and exhibited
internationally, and featured in numerous publications, including Ornament,
Lapidary Journal, Bead & Button, and Beadwork magazines, as well as in
several books.
She has taught basic and advanced bead weaving techniques to
hundreds of students across the US and England. Carol’s 1996 Lark Book,
Creative Bead Weaving, is a best seller. Her newest published
book, The Art & Elegance of Beadweaving has become a library must
for beaders.
Carol lives in Asheville, North Carolina, where she pursues her creative
spirit.
