Prerequisites:

Basic Wire
Skill Level: intermediate    
Technique: modified Soumak weave forging
Description: Make a wonderful piece of art from hand-formed wire that is encased in a woven frame. The instructions are on a simple squiggled design to show the process, but students are welcomed to create their own artwork within the frame as you use the wire to draw your design. Students should bring a medley of gem stones to add to the design, but I will have packets to purchase from as well.
