I have been experimenting
with the art of jewelry making for the past 5 years. It all started
innocently enough. I came across a bead and button magazine with all
kinds of wonderful projects. I was instantly smitten. In fact, I was so
fascinated by the whole concept of jewelry making that I opened my very
own bead store "Bella Beads" in Mundelein, Illinois in 2005.
I enjoyed being an
owner of a bead store and sharing my love and passion of the arts with
my clients and students.In March of 2007 I decided to sell my store so I
could pursue other interests.
I have been teaching
my designs using off-loom beading techniques nationally for two years. I
love the challenge of designing with seedbeads.So many colors, textures
and shapes! So many ways to express yourself with beads!! I share my
designs with others through teaching. It is my hope that students will
be inspired by what they have learned and continue down the creative
path to express themselves thru beading
At home, I have my
husband of 28 years, my son, my mom, 3 Siamese cats, one Lhasa Apso all
under one roof. Life is never dull at my house. I do most of my design
work from 10:00pm to 1:00am.....when everyone is asleep!! |
