Description |
In this seminar,
students will learn about all the different types of pearls, their
formation and factors that influence value. We will discuss in detail
these value factors and examine pearls to learn what to look for when
choosing them, including detecting treatments and enhancements and
analyzing quality. Students are encouraged to bring pearls from their
own collection to practice with. Identification kits that include 17
samples of different shapes, treatments and qualities of pearls can be
purchased for $15 . |
