Class Fee $95.00
Prerequisites:

Peyote

Skill Level: Intermediate
Technique:  Peyote Diagonal Peyote
Description:

In this hands on workshop students will learn and practice the different ways the diagonal peyote stitch can be used in wearables, ornamentation, and objects. A very good example of the use of
diagonal peyote stitch is the russian leaf. The russian leaf has always reminded me of the crochet leaves in Irish crochet lace.  Its use just as versatile.
A different bead, color or shape, a tweak in the set up row or a change in direction half way through your work and what first looked like a leaf turns into a feather, a row of flower petals, or the wing of an insect.

During this class we will use the directions for the Russian Summer necklace as a guide in our diagonal bead work explorations. This gives every
student the opportunity to step in on their own level and go home with more knowledge and the inspiration to recreate this necklace or create their
own personal design.
