Viking knit is technique with wire that has
been around for a long time. While not actually knitting,
it is closer to
another fiber technique called naalbinding or nalbinding.This
looping technique can also be done with fiber, but we will
be using wire. Seed bead elements and wirework can all be
added to this technique.
This technique can be used
to make necklaces and bracelets
as it can be made into any length and cut to fit all
different sizes. |
