Themes of three are carried throughout this project.
Three triangular crystals are framed and joined to a
three-pointed, three-dimensional shape. Put together in
an unexpected way, the three-pointed three-dimensional
shape provides
the pendants support structure. While the front of the
pendant sparkles with the triangular crystals, the back
of the pendant shows off a beaded geometric
pattern. Students will suspend the pendant from an
elegant strap of the instructor’s original
design. Tubular peyote, flat peyote,
circular peyote, herringbone, and a new spiraling strap
variation will be used. Students will learn how to
create the three-dimensional shape,frame the crystal
triangles, attach the framed crystals to the
three-dimensional shape, and make the strap.
