What’s in a name? When I
explained the concept of placing a personal affirmation
beneath the stone of this pendant, my husband the sailor
remarked, "Oh, like when they are building a sailboat and
they place a coin Under the Mast for good luck", and so it
was named.
A rectangle of right angle weave in
size 15’s creates the base to embrace your Swarovski fancy
stone. A row of embellishments at the edges begins a
foundation for the peyote bezel which captures the stone in
place. Before securing your crystal you have the option of
placing a personal affirmation beneath it, tucked away as
your secret. Each of my four best friends and me own one,
and each says ‘celebrating the creative connection’.
A peyote bail is beaded off of the top
edge of the right angle weave base.
The simple yet beautiful neckchain is
a foundation of right angle weave, with layers being added
on opposite sides of each shared bead.
