Description: |
This one-of-a-kind bracelet
juxtaposes the shiny hardness of glass with the matte
softness of felt. Students assemble a palette of fine merino
wool in colors that complement a lampwork bead. They then
felt these fine fibers around a wire armature. In class
students secure a focal bead; fabricate, sculpt, and bead
the felted wire into a stunning bracelet. Finish this piece
in class or continue to watch you piece grow at home with
further embellishment. |
